1983 WISE Alumni
Bulletin Board

Notice to 1983 Alumni.  An electronic yearbook highlighting the 20th anniversary reunion of the 1983 WISE program is available on request thanks to Jack Gale.

Patricia Campbell: I finished law school and am an attorney with Winston & Strawn in Washington, DC, practicing nuclear energy law. My daughter (now 31 years old) moved to Germany to just live for a while and experience a foreign country. My son (now 22 years old) is in college. My husband is in the National Guard and has been deployed for a couple of short term actions since 9/11/2001 (I was in DC at work when the Pentagon was hit). (04/03)  Since February 2, 2005, I am Of Counsel at the law firm of Morgan, Lewis, & Bockius LLP in Washington, DC. My daughter lives in Germany and teaches English as a foreign language and my son is in college. The WISE 1983 alumni reunion was a lot of fun. (06/05)   I am now the Director, Washington Regulatory Affairs, for GE Nuclear. (12/06)

Jack Gale is currently Vice President of Quality, Essco Calibration Lab in Chelmsford, MA. Career milestones:  Commissioned officer, US Navy 1985; plankowner of submarine USS Pasadena (SSN-752) (original crew that builds a Navy ship); qualified in submarines. A former design and manufacturing engineer at Texas Instruments, 1990-1996; MBA, Worcester Polytech (WPI), 1996. Joined Essco as a jack-of-all-trades, doing quality, marketing, and engineering. An avid Toastmaster and Civil War living historian. I helped develop a calibration certification program
for American Society for Quality. Single, but a proud ‘parent’ of a new puppy, Gracie, and an uncle to four. (12/04)  The 1983 alumni gathered in DC last summer (2003) to relive the WISE experience. As we did in 1983, we made a little "yearbook" of the experience. Unlike 1983, we have a few gray hairs and this one is in PDF format. Contact Jack if you would like the file sent along.(12/04)

Suzanne (Lednicky) Mika: I'm living in Anderson, SC.  Married in 1989. Two children, ages 4 and 5. Work for AT&T in Managed Network Services Sales. Previously worked for IBM for 13 years in technical sales until AT&T bought our IBM division in 1999. Studied in France after completing EE undergrad at Texas A&M in 1984. Now working on MBA - University of Phoenix Online. (6/02)
